With daily Journaling (I keep my Journal right here with me at my desk at all times) you get the answers that you may not have been aware that you’re looking for.  Ah, the adventures and discoveries that present themselves as you delve further and further into your brain and body, your spirit and soul.

My journaling entries of recent days stirred up some feelings about what words best describe the Journaling for the Health of It TM process?  Therapy.  Journal Therapy.  And Journal Therapy Cures dis-eases so that’s why I decided to change Create Write Now’s blog name to Journal Therapy Cures. Certainly with ‘Journaling for the Health of It,  TM you reduce stress and strains. But when you participate in daily Journal Therapy sessions, you reap these life-changing rewards:

1. Rediscover who you really are (it’s not even close to who you think you are).

2. Find the origins of your wounds you’re harboring and heal them.

3. Become confident of your abilities, talents and creative possibilities.

4. Manage your bad and good (yes, good!) fears.

5. Transform your Inner Critics to Inner Coaches.

6. Think and feel  positive  all the time.

7. Own and use your power.

Yes, to receive these benefits, it means lots of work--taking time for you and doing lots and lots of writing, writing, and writing.  Sure this serious self-introspection experience is scary because we’ve allowed our Inner Critic’s incessant idle chatter to overwhelm us (you know the stuff about how dumb and stupid, non-creative, non-talented, non-everything positive we are).  And we lug around our parents’ unresolved issues that include their parents’ unresolved personal traumas.  Then too we’ve been believing that our internal pains and struggles are part of our basic makeup and we can’t do anything about it. Not true! Not true! Not true! At all!

Our Voice is trapped way, way, way, way, way  down deep inside us and we just have to dig through all the past’s crazycrap we created in our own self-defense to get to it. That’s what Journal Therapy’s  here for… to get you to your really great parts!
