How to Write a JournalWhen I ask journalers how their journaling’s going I hear a lot of:  “I don’t know what to write about” or “I have writer’s block” (still!) or “I’ve said everything I need to say” or "I just don't have the time".

You probably have your own choice words for why you’re not journaling as much as you “should”.

Here are a couple of suggestions for finding your way home to your Journal:

1. MULTITASK. Combine your journaling with your meditation practice.***

Write a question at the top of a page like “What's really keeping me from to my Journal?” or “How do I get back to my Journal?” (Note: use positive action words like ‘what’ and ‘how’ that keep you present and moving forward.) Then carry that question into your meditation (about 4 or 5 minutes), breathe, relax and listen for the answer. Then write down the response and voila you’ll be back journaling! Be patient with yourself...you'll probably need to do this exercise more than once! The great news is that itthis exercise works for all kinds of dis-eases.

2. INSPIRED JOURNAL. Sometimes we just need to do something different and creative to manage our old ways and means of so automatically stressing ourselves out:
