How Therapeutic Journaling and I Spent our Mercury Retrograde Vacation

At first I was afraid, I was petrified. Kept thinking I could never live without my computer by my side*…Surprise!

I got more perfectly healthy when my computer crashed during May’s Mercury Retrograde because the universe “forced” me to go waaaaay down deep inside and the only way I knew how to do that was injecting mega doses of ‘Journaling for the Health of It’ AKA  therapeutic journaling into my body.

I had two Journals going and many more ½ or less written Journals scattered everywhere. (That was a major breakthrough this May—clearing out clutter, stuff, stuff and more stuff.  I’m now using My Journal with the really hard part: picking up and cleaning up after myself to stay organized, productive and successful…ah yes, behavior change!)  Another learning and topic for more journaling is how I still feel physically like a scared shy little sister.  At least I’m seeing more glimpses of the real me.  Can’t wait to see where my journal writing takes me next.

A light and airy take away from this quality time alone with myself was that I started writing quotes again.  Quotes are great journal writing prompts when you’ve spent too too many nights thinking how you done yourself wrong.

This is my favorite:

If I keep thinking the same old thoughts, I’ll keep myself tied up in nots.

Thanks for the Inspiration Gloria!
