Set aside half an hour--just you, your inner guides, your pen and your Journal. Send your inner critics /monkey minds etc. on extended vacations. Get comfortable. Take lots of breaths. Write a question at the top of the page, starting with "How do I ____ (stop smoking, get into Harvard, lose 10 lbs for my daughter's wedding...).

Continue breathing and keep your pen in your hand. Close your eyes. As the ideas start bubbling up, make a list. At the end of the 30 minutes, congratulate yourself on a job well done and do whatever you feel like doing with the list. Bet you'll surprise your Self with all the great ideas you can act on!
