Healing Write NEWS - March 2010

Green grass 'round my window, young leaves that the wind blows
Yes it's springtime, golden sunshine
And we're glad my little love and I now that summer time is nigh!
Who recorded this song back in 1966? The YouTube knows.

A DOODLE A DAY *
I love to ask my Journal questions and s/he always gives me verrry interesting answers. I'm doing a better job of being present, being aware of how I'm feeling (rather than judging and analyzing) and what I learned in a recent journal therapy session was that pondering "Where does that come from?" is a much healthier question for exploring my childhood with my Inner Kid than the whining/whying I've been doing way too much.
Well, of course, several days later this article appeared talking about a book called "The Daily Doodle" which I purchased--one for me and one for my BFF Dominic, age 4. We'll have our first pre-writing session this Wednesday before our PBJ sandwich lunchtime.

* IN YOUR OWN WORDS *
This Month, look for the release of the first book in the Indigo Wizard series, The Awakening Tales.
Sister Paula Matthew has worked on this book for more than a decade, and now artist Keith Rosko's illustrations bring to life the world of the Indigo Wizard, a magical place where the human spirit is called to a deeper understanding of God's presence in our lives. Simple enough for children to grasp, The Awakening Tales will be equally appropriate for adult readers who are hungry for new insights into their relationships with the Divine.
While The Awakening Tales may seem at first like a fairy tale about talking animals and the wizard who mentors them, there is much more depth in these stories than a surface reading suggests. The Awakening Tales is a symbolic, spiritual, and universal set of stories that can help readers consider their own enlightenment and relationship with the Divine.
Pre-order The Awakening Tales before its late-March release, and you can save 10% off your purchase. Visit www.TheIndigoWizard.com to learn more about the book and order your copy today.
