When you say “I don’t know what to write about” or “I don’t have anything to say” this really makes your inner critic/internal editor a very happy camper. I can just hear him/her/it saying, “Sweet success! No creative, expressive, exploring today; staying stuck is the bestest of ways!” So here are some journaling jump starters from the weekly Journaling Therapy Tips newsletter you can get by signing up here.

#75 The Miracle Worker

Inspiration comes in the strangest ways, when we are not trying to force the issue. An AARP commercial about what I want to be when I grow up prompted this week’s tip. We lose track of our dreams and goals and passions and Journaling helps in their retrieval.

~~Bring your Inner Kid into the conversation and tell your Journal, "When I grow up, I wanna..." ~~~

BONUS JOURNALING TIP

 "We don't grade on a curve. If I give any of these guys a helmet on Sunday, I expect them to put themselves in position to be the reason why we win."
                    (My Inner Coach) Mike Tomlin
Who’s your Inner Coach? Had a Journaling conversation with him/her lately, ever?

#76 Memoirs of a Geisha

~~~Have a heart-to-heart concept meeting with your Journal on writing your life story—the Book. Create a working title. Design a cover. What treasures and insights do You want to share with the world?~~~
BONUS JOURNALING TIP
Take your life in your own hands, and what happens?
A terrible thing: you have no one to blame! Erica Jong
#77 Without You
I’ve recently discovered my pop belter voice and am redoing my ‘A Baby Boomer’s Christmas’ album in a 70s Rock n’ Roll style. That musical genre has the most gorgeously lyrics that make for great awesome journaling prompts.
No, I can't forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrow
When I had you there but then I let you go
And now it's only fair that I should let you know
What you should know...
And what should he/she/they know? Maybe Harry Nilsson can give your Journal some words.
BONUS JOURNALING TIP
We are on this earth in bodies because our souls have things to learn that we could not learn in any other way. Jamie Windsong Kasper
